Opening Times

The opening times of the practice premises are shown in the table below - however, our main phone lines open at 8:30 am each weekday morning until 1:00 pm and are open again from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm. On Wednesday afternoons there is reduced reception cover in operation but the duty GP will conduct a book-on-the-day clinic and the practice remains contactable.

To clarify, for urgent medical problems the practice can be called on 01793 523176 from 8:00 am until 6:30 pm on any weekday and, if we are closed, patients will be able to press 9 to contact on-call GP.

Evening and Weekend Appointments

In addition to the practice opening hours, there may also be extended hours appointments, bookable through this surgery, to see a GP until 7:00 pm or at the weekend at one of the SUCCESS centres at Moredon Medical Centre or Swindon Health Centre.

Extended Hours

We are pleased to provide an extended hours service on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings consisting of a limited number of pre-booked early morning Nurse and Nurse Practitioner consultations. Please contact surgery reception to book.

Moredon Children and Young People Clinic

Open seven days a week for 3 months to 18 years

Appointments at Moredon SUCCESS Children and Young People Clinic are available for our practice patients aged 3 months to 18 years.

Please ring 0300 111 0088 from 08:00 onwards to book an appointment.

When we are Closed

The practice is responsible for looking after its patients between 8:00am and 6:30pm Monday to Friday and if you feel need urgent help you should call our usual number, 01793 523176, throughout during these periods. If the practice is closed at any point during this period you will be given the option to be connected to the duty GP by pressing 9.

For health information and advice, or if you need medical help fast when we are closed between 6:30 pm and 8:00 am on weekdays or at weekends/Bank Holidays call NHS 111. 111 is the number to call when you need medical help fast but it’s not a life-threatening emergency.

In life threatening emergencies such as chest pain and severe shortness of breath you should call 999
